SpeedKarting Warrington

The first karting trip of the academic year will be at Speedkarting (http://www.speedkarting.co.uk/) in Warrington on Wednesday 22nd October, leaving from the Parkinson Steps at 2:30pm. The track is 1000 metres long and is the only three-level circuit in the UK.
Participation will cost £40, including five races of five laps, a trophy ceremony with champagne and transport to and from the circuit.
To reserve your place in this event, please leave a deposit of £10 with the Mechanical Engineering Department’s secretary from Monday 29th, along with your name and email address. Reservations are restricted to 20 people and will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis.
This event is only open to paid members, however new members will be accepted but a place will not be confirmed until you have become a paid member. (Membership fee: £6, email rosie@leedsmecheng.co.uk)
